Die in Kiel an der Förde verlaufende, grau gepflasterte Kiellinie wurde auf Höhe des Landtags durch eine nutzbare Intervention verändert.
Ziel war es, die lineare Wegführung, die ein klares, relativ zielstrebiges Bewegungsmuster der Passant:innen verursacht, durch zusätzliche Elemente spielerisch aufzubrechen und so diesen Abschnitt neu erlebbar zu machen.
Die mit dem Umraum visuell interagierenden, offen strukturierten Objekte waren als intuitiv nutzbare Gegenform zu der vorhandenen Architektur angelegt.
Vor allem Kinder, viele ältere Menschen und sogar Menschen im
Rollstuhl nutzten insbesondere die geschwungene Rampe als neuen Erlebnis- und Aufenthaltsort.
Das Projekt wurde vom Kunstbeirat, dem Amt für Kultur- und Weiterbildung der Stadt Kiel sowie dem Futur 3 Festival unterstützt.

The „Kiellinie“, which is paved in grey and straight- lined, has been changed with an usable intervention at the level of the parliament.
The aim was to add elements to playfully break with/open up the linear routing, which normally causes a clear and relatively determined motion pattern of the passersby, so that this part can be experienced in a new way.
The open- structured objects, which visually interacted with the environment, were
created as an intuitive usable form opposed to the present architecture.
Mostly children, many elderly people and even wheelchair users used especially
the curved ramp as a new place of adventure and residence.
The project was supported by the Kunstbeirat, the department for culture andfurther education of the city of Kiel and the FUTUR3 Festival.
