Die Küste als Transformations-, und Lebensraum ist natürlicherweise beständig in Bewegung.
Bewegliches Material wie Sand, Steine und Treibsel verändern sich mit und durch den Einfluss von Wind, Wetter und Strömungen und bilden so eine natürliche Puffer- und Schutzzone von Land zu Wasser.
Die materielle Ausbeutung des Meeres und küstennahe Bebauung durch den Menschen haben die Küstenzonen der Welt stark verändert.
Häfen, Straßen und Häuser schränken den natürlichen Bewegungskreislauf stark ein. Dadurch verstärkte Probleme wie Überflutungen, Unterspülungen und Küstenabbruch können scheinbar nur mit erneuten Bauwerken verhindert werden. Statisch konstruierte Formen ersetzen fluides Material.
Die Arbeiten thematisieren die Verzahnung und Wirkung von menschlich gebauten Formen und deren Interaktion mit Naturraum.
Durch die perforierten Flächen und Bewegungen der Betrachter:innen geraten die statischen Bauten mit visuellen Verschiebungen und Vibrationen ins Wanken.

The coastline as a transformation and living environment is in constant flow.
Mobile material such as sand, stone or drifted debris, changes with the influence of wind, weather and currents, thereby forming a natural buffer- and protection zone from land to water.
The material exploitation of the sea, compounded by coastal development by humans, has greatly changed the coastal zones of the world.
Harbours, streets and houses limit the circular flow strongly.
Through that, reinforced problems like floods, washouts and attacks on the coastline seem to only be preventable by new buildings.
Static constructed forms replace fluid material.
Those works broach the issue of interlocking and impact of human built forms and their interaction with natural space.
Through perforated surface and movement of the observer static buildings begin to totter with visual vibration and shifting.
